Things to do on the Sunshine Coast!

With plenty to see and do, you can spend your days simply relaxing on the beach or get out and about!
Beach and Boardwalk
King Beach, Caloundra is the perfect destination to just relax and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer. Head down to the foreshore and take a dip in the ocean or enjoy a stroll along part or the entire 25 km stretch from Golden Beach to Mooloolaba!
On the water
It goes without saying, that no stay at Caloundra can go by without getting out on the water. So, jump onboard a relaxing cruise from Caloundra to Moreton Island or hire a boat for the day? Keep an eye out for birdlife and dolphins in the Pumicestone Passage and whales on the open ocean during Winter and Spring.
Take a dip
The API Holiday Apartments are only four mins walk down to Kings Beach, however, Caloundra have a multitude of other beach to discover. Bulcock Beach with a selection of great cafes and restaurants, Golden Beach is an ideal swimming location for families with younger children and Shelly Beach has rock pools waiting to be discovered. And there’s also Dicky, Currimundi, Kawana and Wurtulla Beaches on the list.

Caloundra have a great range of new cafes, bars and restauratss to visit, many along the waters edge, where you can enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning beach views.
Cool off in the hinterlands
Jump in the car and head up into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to enjoy a day up in the clouds! Visit Montville and wander down the main street, stopping to enjoy a coffee and cake or lunch at one of the many lovely cafes and restaurants.
