COVID-19 Safe Statement

API is committed to the health and safety of our members, staff, contractors and stakeholders and we welcome API members back to our Queensland Holiday Homes.

In keeping with current advice from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) and directives from the Queensland Chief Health Officer, we please ask that you refrain from visiting the holiday homes if you are subject to a quarantine/isolation directive.
Guests are reminded that good personal hygiene, regular washing of hands and the use of alcohol based hand sanitisers, sneezing and coughing etiquette, not touching your face, social distancing and disposal of tissues immediately into a rubbish bin are all recognised as preventive means to avoid contracting or spreading COVID-19.

If you become unwell with flu like symptoms, a dry cough, sore throat, runny nose, a fever/temperature and breathing difficulties, AHPPC advice is to isolate and get tested immediately.

Should you be diagnosed with COVID-19 while staying with us, or soon after your stay, please notify API Qld on 1300 130 566 as soon as practical, so steps can be taken to protect fellow guests and staff and to support your needs during that time.

Please refrain from staying with us if you are unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms. Guests are advised to provide and use their own hand sanitiser.
Our holiday homes have been certified as COVID Clean by the Australian Industry Tourism Council. Our staff will meet the above criteria and will practice safe personal distancing of 1.5m. We encourage guests while staying with us, to maintain physical distancing recommendations as outlined by the AHPPC and remaining 1.5m from other guests and our team. Our team have been briefed on current requirements for cleaning and sanitising and enhanced measures have been adopted at our holiday homes.

This notice will be updated to reflect the recommendations of the AHPPC and directives from the Queensland Chief Health Officer and as such, are subject to change. Members are encouraged to familiarise themselves with current COVID positive and close contact requirements that may impact their ability to travel. API Qld Holiday Homes are not available for COVID quarantine purposes.
